05.11.2019 Heaters

Every person, for sure, dreams of always being surrounded by beauty. Beauty should surround us not only in the house, but also on the street. Today, it is customary to decorate not only the interior of the dwelling, but also garden plots. A professional designer will be able to do everything in the highest class. But you will have to pay a lot of money for his services. And if you do not have huge sums of money, then you can do it on your own. Indeed, in order to make your courtyard attractive, you do not need to spend a lot of money. In this case, you can get by on a limited budget. Remember that do-it-yourself garden design for the poor can make absolutely any summer cottage attractive.

We plan an economical garden design

It is important to say at the beginning that it is not possible to ennoble the site without spending money at all. Therefore, it is worth first calculating the amount of finance that you can allocate for landscaping. Below we describe the sequence of actions by which your garden will become more attractive.

Looking for building materials.

Old trash, for sure, is in your country house. As a rule, it is stored in sheds or pantries. You will use the items suitable for garden design. In this case, the following can be involved in decorating the garden: boards, logs, old tires from a car, leaky barrels and buckets, pieces of reinforcement. For arranging small mini-flower beds, you can even use holey shoes. And an old bathtub and a broken stroller can be used as a flower garden.

We evaluate the site and future work.

If you are interested in the design of garden plots with your own hands, then you can look at some photos for inspiration. Thanks to them, you can find the perfect solution for you. Before you start decorating a garden, it is important to evaluate your site and draw up a rough plan for it. In this case, you can use a computer program, and if you do not know how to be friends with a computer, then you do not need to despair. Arm yourself with a pen with a notebook and go to your yard. It is necessary to sketch out a rough plan of your site on a piece of paper. Designate in the notebook the house and those buildings that are involved as household. In the plan, it is worth indicating the location of the cardinal points. It is also necessary to evaluate the configuration of the site. Write about your soil and note any irregularities that it has.

If the house was recently built and there are no landings next to it, then this is a good situation. But in practice it is quite different. And so we all want to change the situation and produce an inexpensive landscape design for a summer cottage. As a rule, cheap materials or those materials that are at hand can be used here. You need to think about the layout of the garden plot. What changes will you make in this case? If you intend to move the garden, then think in advance about the work that will be carried out.

Those plants that already grow in the country are written out on a separate sheet. In a separate column, indicate those trees and plants that do not make sense to replant. You can quickly and cheaply change the situation in your garden with the help of perennials. You don't need to buy plants. It is enough to ask your friends who can give you their shoots.

Planning details.

From the hands of an experienced designer, a beautiful drawing and a plan for describing actions to improve a garden plot can come out. But even without any skills, you can also do just as well. On a plan in a regular notebook, draw with a pen those details that you want to get. In this case, it is necessary to place explanatory notes on the sidelines.

On the plan, flower beds are indicated by an oval or a square. It all depends on the form that they will have in the future. Straight or winding lines indicate paths in the garden. Large circles are large trees. Small circles are shrubs. A number is placed in the center of the circle. And then on a separate sheet opposite each we put down the name of the plant.

In general, for design elements you need to develop your own notation. This system should be convenient and understandable for you. At the same time, you can change your plan taking into account the possibilities and your desires.

There are a few tips to keep in mind when planning your garden design. In this case, you can make the right decision and make your garden very beautiful.

We take into account the location of the cardinal points.

  • On the garden plot, everything should be located correctly relative to the cardinal points.
  • The north side will always be in the shade. Therefore, in this area it is better to place a place to relax.
  • On the eastern side, the sun's rays stay from sunrise until noon. In such a zone, it is most pleasant to drink a cup of tea in the early morning and listen to the birds singing. Therefore, it is recommended to place a table or bench here.
  • The west side is well illuminated by the sun's rays. This usually happens from noon until sunset.
  • The south side is considered the best in the garden. The sun is in this part of the day during the whole daylight hours. Therefore, all design elements, as well as flower beds, are recommended to be located in this zone.

We divide the site into zones.

Even the smallest land plot can be divided into certain zones. In this case, you do not have to build huge walls or plant expensive shrubs. Here you can get by on a budget. To divide the site, it is enough to drive in a couple of stakes and pull the twine. A climbing perennial or annual plant is worth planting nearby. The effect will be amazing. You can also stretch the twine between two trees.

On a solid support that can last more than one year, you can start up: various varieties of grapes, clematis, honeysuckle. You can divide the site by means of: arches with looping plants, trellises or some kind of decorative walls.

Paths and paths.

Ordinary paths and paths in the country are not the best solution. As a rule, walking on them is not very convenient due to dirt and weeds. Resolving the situation is easy. The paths are tiled. It's comfortable and beautiful. You can also fill them with rubble or gravel. Naturally, the second option is cheaper, but if you have the opportunity, then choose a tile.

An excellent solution for the garden would be a grass path called "highlander". This weed easily masters any surface. He is not afraid of trampling, and in the summer it is a real pleasure to walk along such a path. This herb is growing at a fast pace. Therefore, its growth can be reduced by trimming with trimmer scissors.

A beautiful and very comfortable path can be made from birch logs. These logs are simply sawn into circles, which should not be too thin. After that, the path is laid out in circles. The result will be very beautiful, and the path will lay you down for a long time.

On a note! You should not lay out a path from birch circles in the place where children play. They can trip over the mugs and injure themselves.

And some more tips for arranging paths and paths.

  • For a solo hike, a path 60-80 cm wide is suitable.
  • For paired paths, a path is constructed with a width of 1.2 meters.
  • To approach the house, a path is built, having a width of 1.2-1.4 meters. Moreover, the garden path on the way to the house should gradually expand.
  • The shape of the path must be chosen taking into account the landscape features of your summer cottage.
  • If the path has sharp bends, then they are masked. As a rule, in this case, ornamental trees or shrubs are used.
  • From the front door to the gate there should be a flat and wide road.

Let's talk about borders

Borders are an integral part of any suburban area. You can build them from different materials. Suitable in this case: tiles and border tape. But sometimes such materials are not available in the country. The way out is very simple. Take discs and planks of wood. But they should be pre-soaked with used engine oil. This action will prevent the material from rotting. Such borders may not last long. But during this time you can find those materials that will become a replacement and form a beautiful border.

Lawn in the country.

In this article, we list DIY garden design ideas. In addition to tips, you can also see photos here. In landscape design, a lawn is quite common. But this element is considered the most difficult to care for. And if there is no money to buy seeds, but you really want to have a plot with a lawn, then you can get by with a budget option. In this situation, a grassy area is selected, which is regularly mowed. Remember that with constant mowing of grass, weeds lose their ability to grow and also multiply. In a couple of years of such actions, weed grass will completely leave the site, and it will be replaced by beautiful grasses that usually grow in a meadow.

A meadow grass lawn will not be very beautiful. However, it is extremely easy to care for such a site. They mow it once a month, and the grass is not removed at the same time, it will be fertilizer. In addition, it will be difficult for weeds to grow through it. This type of lawn has several other advantages. For example, he is not afraid of trampling and it is so pleasant to walk barefoot on it in the summer to harden the body.

Small forms of architecture.

Auxiliary elements in the decor of the garden plot are MAFs. MAF are small architectural forms. They can be: benches, gazebos, arches, pergolas and other elements. Some of these elements are easy to make yourself. In this case, you do not have to spend huge amounts of money. Here, for example, it is very simple to make benches. And to add beauty or from strong winds, a trellis is installed behind the bench, which is made of slats or planks. Also, for beauty, you can plant vines that will beautifully braid this support.

Quite often on the garden plot you can see gazebos. But it is not so easy to build it with your own hands. And yes, this is costly. You can do it differently. Take reinforcement or high poles, from which form a hut. Climbing plants are planted next to such a structure. Naturally, such an arbor is not capable of protecting from rain and precipitation. But it is quite possible to hide from the sun. In addition, such a product will be an excellent decorative element.

Flowerbeds and flowerbeds.

Just digging up a plot and planting flowers on it is half the battle. It is worth remembering that even the most expensive plant varieties will look ridiculous in untidy beds or flower beds. It is best to use fewer plants in the composition. However, it is worth thinking about their combination.

In the country, flower beds and flower beds can be of completely different shapes. Moreover, the size can also be different. Building a beautiful flower garden is not an easy task. But, if you take into account some rules, then you will succeed.

First of all, the chosen place and environmental conditions are evaluated. The site for planting flowers should be consecrated and have fertile soil. Plants are planted only in a suitable place. They are grouped according to the requirement for watering. In this case, it is highly not recommended to plant a moisture-loving plant with a plant that loves moderate watering. In such a situation, one of the plants will necessarily suffer.

When planting flowers, pay attention to layering. In the foreground are low flowers. But plant large ones in the back. Small plants should frame the entire flower garden if it is clearly visible from all sides. But large flowers are planted in the center.

Throughout the season, the flower garden should play a decorative role. Before planning your flower bed, you need to know the flowering time of the plants you plan to plant. Pay attention to decorative leafy plants. They are quite varied. Therefore, you can easily find everything you need.

In the flower garden, all flowering plants should be combined in color. A flower bed should be well-chosen. White flowers are a good option. They can be combined with flowers of any color. But the 50:50 color ratio isn't particularly pretty. The correct combination of 1/3 and 2/3.

Flowerbeds from handy material

Do you think that decorating the site with flowers is an expensive undertaking? Then it is worth saying that you are grossly mistaken. You will have to spend money only on planting material, but to create flower beds you will need handy materials. An old bath, an unwanted log, and even a leaky bucket - all this can serve you to create an original flower bed.

Old shoes and bags may be involved in landscaping. These items are filled with earth and hung throughout the site. Lobelia and petunia grow well in such interesting flower beds.

If you pre-paint the old car tires, then you can plant flowers in them.

Finally

In this article, we have listed for readers just a few options for arranging a summer cottage. Of course, we offer you not expensive ideas with which your garden will sparkle with new colors.

The landscaping of a summer cottage implies not only competent planning and cleanliness, but also a certain decor. Most often, various borders, original flower beds and garden sculptures are used for this. To avoid unnecessary costs, we decorate the cottage with our own hands, using only improvised materials.

For the manufacture of garden paths, a wide variety of materials are used: brick, stone, gravel, round cuts of wood, and others. To make the site look harmonious, all tracks must be of the same material and, preferably, the same width. The most important thing is that the surface does not slip and does not collapse under the influence of moisture.

For work you will need:

It is more convenient to lay out a path from a whole brick, but a more beautiful surface is obtained from a broken one. So, first mark the boundaries, and then remove a layer of turf 15-20 cm thick. The bottom of the trench is well tamped, covered with a layer of coarse sand. The sand is poured with water for greater compaction and the laying of bricks is started. Very often, a brick is laid out without cement mortar, filling all the gaps with sand, but the use of the mortar will make the masonry much more reliable and durable.

Brick can be laid in any way: in parallel rows along the length or width of the track, in a checkerboard pattern, randomly, intersperse a whole brick with a broken one, form geometric shapes. Each element must be tightly laid next to the others and knocked out with a rubber mallet so that it does not protrude above the surface. The denser the laying, the more reliable it is. In a similar way, paths are made of stone or gravel.

Learn from step-by-step instructions, how, in our new article.

wooden walkways

If there are a lot of old unnecessary trees in the country house, you can create very beautiful garden paths from chocks and saw cuts of trunks. The saw cuts must be of the same thickness, not less than 15 cm; It is not necessary to select according to the diameter of the workpiece. You can not use too cracked or rotten parts of the tree - they will not last even a season.

For work you will need:

  • saw cuts of thick branches and trunk;
  • bituminous mastic or waste oil;
  • geotextile;
  • coarse sand;
  • a hammer;
  • shovel;
  • building level.

All saw cuts must be cleaned of bark and soaked with mining or hot drying oil from all sides. If bituminous mastic is used, the blanks are thickly coated on the side that will be in the ground. While the wood is drying, you can make markings on the ground and remove the top layer of the earth.

Laying saw cuts

The depth of the trench should be such that the saw cuts, after being installed on a sand cushion, are flush with the surface or slightly rise above the ground.

The bottom must be well tamped and covered with geotextile, releasing the edges of the material up on both sides of the trench. A layer of sand is poured, leveled, saw cuts are tightly installed and the gaps formed between them are filled with the same sand or screenings. With the help, they control the location of the saw cuts horizontally so that the track has a flat surface.

Beautiful homemade borders can be placed along the paths, around the flower beds, at the gate, or delimit the site into zones. For the manufacture of curbs, wooden chocks, rods, vines, bricks and stones, glass bottles, cinder blocks, and concrete are used. Broken glass, multi-colored pebbles and ceramic chips are used as decoration for concrete products.

Borders made of brick, stone and cinder block

To lay out a brick border, you will need:

According to the marking, a layer of earth is selected to a depth of 15 cm and a width of 20 cm. The bottom is compacted and covered with crushed stone to half the depth of the groove, and poured with mortar from above. When the mortar sets well, lay out the brick in rows in a checkerboard pattern. The border can be solid or have gaps - it depends on the amount of source material and the imagination of the master. In the same way, lay out a curb made of stone or cinder block.

To make the cinder block more decorative, you can use outdoor plaster and dye. After laying the cinder block and drying the solution, a plaster mixture is prepared: dry plaster is diluted with water and a coloring pigment is added. Now the surface of the border is covered with a decorative mixture and patterns are created using a spatula. This edging looks very attractive both along the paths and around the flower beds.

For wooden borders, small-diameter saw cuts, chumps made of branches, strong rods and antiseptic-impregnated hardwood timber are suitable. The blanks must be of the same size and without bark, otherwise the border will look very sloppy. First, all wooden elements must be soaked with used oil, drying oil or dried well in air.

While the workpieces are drying, you can make markings and select the soil to a depth of 15-20 cm. The bottom and walls of the groove should be covered with geotextiles, and then a layer of sand should be poured onto the bottom. Dried logs are alternately inserted into the groove, knocking with a mallet and checking their height by level. The gaps are filled with sand or screenings, soil is poured on the sides and compacted.

You can make neat and attractive concrete curbs. For this you will need:

Mark the borders of the curb and take out a layer of soil 15 cm thick. On both sides of the groove, formwork is installed from the boards and fixed with jumpers. The inner side of the formwork is upholstered with polyethylene to make the curb surface smooth. For the same reason, the boards should be as even as possible. As a reinforcing frame, 2-3 steel bars with a cross section of 10 mm can be laid, interconnected by wire at a short distance.

The solution is poured into the formwork, the surface is leveled with a trowel. After 2-3 hours, colored fragments of ceramics, pebbles, glass are pressed into raw concrete - everything that fantasy suggests. After a day, rub the irregularities and leave to dry completely. If desired, finished borders can be painted.

Making garden sculptures

Home-made garden sculptures can not only decorate the cottage, but also give it a special atmosphere and originality. You can use plywood, stumps, clay, gypsum or cement mortar, old car tires, scrap metal, plastic bottles and even polyurethane foam to make sculptures! The most important thing is that all the figures are combined with each other and in harmony with the surrounding landscape, otherwise the summer cottage will look like a warehouse.

It is easy to make any decorative figure from plywood. In the process of work you will need:

  • sample;
  • jigsaw;
  • waterproof plywood;
  • primer;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • screwdriver;
  • multicolored paint.

The figurine can be three-dimensional or flat, depending on the chosen template. Flat ones are easier to make and the process itself takes less time. To do this, a template is applied to the plywood sheet, circled with a pencil and cut off all the excess with a jigsaw. Then the sections are ground and the workpiece is treated with a protective primer. When the plywood dries, all that remains is to paint the figurine and install it in the garden.

Volumetric figures look more original and can perform additional functions, such as this cow.

To make it, you will need 4 identical sheets of plywood and several small fragments from which the head of the animal will be made. Additionally, you will need a metal or wooden frame and a container for plants. Plywood sheets are cut according to the template and fastened in the form of a box. The head of a cow is assembled from scraps, ears are attached to it and all together are screwed to the base. Then you need to properly paint the structure, dry it, and then install and fix it on the frame. A container is placed inside, filled with earth and ornamental plants are planted.

Find out how to do it with step by step instructions in our new article.

Plaster sculptures

Gypsum or cement mortar makes it possible to pour a sculpture of any shape and size. For small figures, the mold is made from plastic containers, and to create a large sculpture, you will need to assemble a strong metal frame. In the absence of experience, it is recommended to start with small products of a simple form; Compositions of fresh flowers look very nice surrounded by gypsum mushrooms with bright hats, figures of gnomes or, for example, a turtle by a makeshift pond.

Remember, after all, some 10-15 years ago, the most striking impression from visiting the dacha was several flower beds or weaving branches of grapes along the fence. But today this place is becoming a truly paradise, for which designers and builders are involved.

In our article, we will tell you some of the best and amazing ideas for decorating a landscape area with your own hands from improvised means, without spending fabulous money.

Tips from experts on the design of summer cottages

First, you should immediately understand your taste preferences in style. Secondly, it is necessary to take into account your time and financial possibilities.

And most importantly, it is important to create the most comfortable nest for a good rest of the soul and body, without resorting to too pretentious and complex designs.

In working on the creative design of your dacha, you can use the following simple and almost free things:

  • used car tires;
  • plastic bottles of different sizes and colors, bowls, buckets;
  • ropes or ropes, wire, mesh;
  • ownerless polypropylene pipes;
  • old unwanted shoes;
  • all kinds of wooden boxes;
  • different-sized containers, tanks;
  • dishes: mugs, teapots, beautiful plates;
  • non-working old bicycles;
  • unused building materials.

Ideas for site design

You will be surprised, but many handmade figures or figurines are not only unique and one of a kind, but also extremely attractive. One example is frogs made from mounting foam or swans made from plaster.

You may have noticed the abundance of figures made from old car tires. What they didn’t do: from ordinary fences to exquisite firebirds!

The main brightness is added to the transformation of tires by the use of special paints, which make real masterpieces from incomprehensible black rubber statues.

On the Internet today there is an abundance of photos of the beautiful design of the site: these are rubber parrots or pigs, palm trees from bottles, etc.

DIY artificial pond

In your country house, you can build a fountain or an artificial pond with your own hands, and this will be an excellent solution for an attractive exterior of the site. The fountain container itself can be easily made from an unnecessary boat or a large tank, and the bottom of the pond is lined with gravel and sand, on top of which a tarpaulin is applied in several layers.

At the end, simply fill with water, and it remains only to decorate in accordance with the wishes and tastes. Along the perimeter of the reservoir, flower vases or simply planted flower beds will look harmonious.

Country paths

Let's think about whether we need trails or paths in the country? Undoubtedly needed! When it rains, you are unlikely to enjoy running into dirty puddles with mud into the house. To do this, we recommend making aesthetic passages that are installed near the objects you need (toilet, garage, veranda).

To implement this idea, not much is needed: large sea stones, unnecessary bricks, small pebbles, non-sharp bottle glasses.

And imagine how beautiful such a country path will look, along which small flower beds of various colors are planted.

We strongly recommend that you place a simple bird feeder in your summer cottage, which will not only be a benefit for singing sonorous birds, but also a joy for children. A "refectory" place for birds can be made from the simplest plastic bottles or wooden boxes.

Note!

Modern landscape design is not only an opportunity to decorate our summer cottages, but also allows us to develop our imagination in order to achieve the goal of getting a comfortable rest for body and soul. Many ideas can help you create a piece of paradise that you want to return to again and again.

Note!

Note!

When you have a house on the site, a barn, and everything else is a wasteland. I want to do everything beautifully, but there is not a lot of money in my pocket. How to act?

1. One of the main conditions is not to rush. Remember the wise saying: if you hurry, you will make people laugh. Here she comes in very handy. Dozens of times I witnessed how people spent their last money on seedlings that were not at all suitable for their plots, or worse, were intended only for the southern climate. Plants were disappearing, people were discouraged. And it is clear that beauty never appeared. They again bought something they simply liked, planted, then uprooted, mourning another failure. And in the end, it often happens that a very large amount is spent in vain. AND YOU COULD SAVE! Never follow this example!

2. One of the main tips is to draw up a site design project or just a plan. It may not be perfect without special knowledge - but it's better than nothing! If you want to take this seriously, pay attention to the video course "We create a design project for the site ourselves." Think carefully about the plants you want. Read their characteristics, since there is plenty of information now.

3. First of all, we plant the so-called green skeleton of the site: trees, shrubs. Of course, we will immediately take care of the garden. If possible, we allocate a separate piece of land for it, depending on the needs. An important hint: if you are not going to trade fruits, then the following set is quite sufficient for a family of 4-5 people:
3 apple trees (early, medium, winter), 2 pears (summer, winter), 2 plums, 2 cherries, 3 black currants, 1 red currant, 2 gooseberries, optional Japanese quince, sea buckthorn. In the southern regions, you need to add two peaches, two apricots, grapes.
For some, this at first seems insufficient, and they buy much more seedlings, and then they often do not know where to put the products, and there are more and more shadows on the site. Then the saw starts up. Here's another savings article for you. Estimate the number of plants not offhand, but with reason. And one more thing: buy seedlings only in proven nurseries, and look for them at an affordable price: the choice today is huge in almost all regions.
4. Let's continue working with trees and shrubs. This time with decorative ones. If the site is small - there is clearly no room for large trees. But, fortunately, there are also low forms. One or two would play the role of dominant and vertical very well. If possible, you can make a forest edge, say, from mountain ash, maple, birch, spruce. If they are constantly trimmed, they can be reshaped and stop their growth.

THIS IS A VERY ECONOMICAL OPTION: inexpensive seedlings can be bought in forestries or taken from neighbors. If the forest is not far away, then obviously the wind will bring a seed to someone on the site and a seedling will appear there. As it happened, for example, in our area. Once we noticed two tiny pines, two birches and one maple. They were inexpressibly surprised and delighted: we just wanted to make a forest corner in this place, but all hands did not reach. And now the trees are growing, and we cherish them and admire them. These are the real miracles.

As for ornamental shrubs, they are simply irreplaceable even in the smallest area. And first of all, think about which ones to use for hedges. She, in my opinion, should be on any site. It is beautiful, comfortable and the microclimate improves.
There is no money for thuja - and no need! Moreover, those who are fenced with thujas from all sides for reasons - expensive, then great - lose a lot: this is too much from an aesthetic point of view (a huge monochromatic gamut of green, which is already in abundance on the site) and from a psychological (large the number of conifers is oppressed, especially children).

So if you still want to use thuja, then let them act with you, say, only as guards at the entrance to the site or as a rare hedge on the front side of the house. But in this case, there is an opportunity not to waste too much. You can buy a small seedling or even plant from seeds or take cuttings from a neighbor. Yes, it takes time to grow. But then it will be your real brainchild.
Most deciduous shrubs are much cheaper. Again, many of them are well cuttings and grow quickly. Suitable weigels, cotoneaster, hydrangeas, privet, forsythia, white derain, euonymus, Ginnala maple (perfectly cut to any height).

And if you wish, you can twist the fence with unpretentious perennial girlish grapes, curly beans or plant sunflowers, mallow.
One flowering shrub or a group will look great, say, on a lawn, in a recreation area, near a gazebo. You can always get a lilac for a purely nominal fee (many of its species give shoots that people are happy to get rid of), rose hips or jasmine.

NOW ATTENTION! - THE MOST VALUABLE LIFE ADVICE - ALWAYS BE FRIENDS WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS! And it’s better not to beg plants from them, but change or treat them with pies, barbecues, invite them for tea (it definitely won’t require significant costs), and so on. Then fellow gardeners-florists themselves will be happy to bring you seedlings and delenki.
5. Go ahead. It would be nice to pay attention to the tracks. When they are in order, the site is immediately transformed. If you have broken, chipped tiles, it is better to say goodbye to them without regret, at least in the front area. There are a lot of different materials for laying tracks.
But we are talking about the cheap option. Then it can be an ordinary gray concrete tile, made with your own hands, interspersed with colored pebbles. Or even colored tiles, if you add dyes to the cement.
And at all, a path made of ordinary gray stones collected in the fields will cost you almost free of charge. This material is beautiful, durable and fashionable at all times. Moreover, even any woman can do such a path. And, say, in a recreation area, you can make a step-by-step path out of larger and flat stones. The grass path is also good, only it needs to be kept within the intended width and mowed in time.

6. Don't settle for a temporary greenhouse made of mixed materials, crooked sticks, broken window frames, etc. It's a cross on all the beauty of the site. Everyone knows: there is nothing more permanent than temporary. It is better not to start a greenhouse at all than to spoil everything with it. If you really need it, save money for it and buy parts for it or a finished design. After all, it is for many years.
7. Take a place on the front area under the lawn, even a small one. He is a real decoration for the site. Seek your own lawn by reading about the technology or by watching our video course, Making a Beautiful Lawn. And always keep it in good shape.
8. As for flower beds. Again, do not buy plants for them that you know nothing about. You will save a lot if you make flower beds from perennials, and you will plant only such annuals from which you can easily collect seeds in sufficient quantities. Of course, study prices and buy seeds and seedlings at lower prices.
9. Be sure to take a place under the rockery or a piece of the Japanese garden. Costs may be minimal. They mainly need stones, pebbles, moss, a few conifers and a lot of ground cover plants. Another advantage of such compositions is that they feel great even on the north side and in the shade. And how beautiful!

10. Do you want to stand out, surprise your neighbors? Then make some small architectural forms, crafts with your own hands. Indeed, often all kinds of improvised materials are used for them, which are enough in any courtyard. Not everyone can? A controversial issue, because according to my observations, out of 10 people who are unsure of their abilities, 9 did not even try to create something with their own hands. How many times have I seen dull old wooden poles on the plots - that someone does not have enough ability to just simply bloom them? Or, say, it takes some special talent to paint a gray concrete wall? Of course not. All you need is a desire! And it still doesn't work? Then it is appropriate to ask relatives and friends about it. Or do something together. For example, an interesting bench (it is needed on the site anyway) or a table for outdoor tea parties. Look at the photo, maybe something you want and can repeat.

11. And finally. SAVE ON FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS! Instead, use compost, earthworms, and herbal infusions.
And may you succeed!
