Tulips from a plastic bottle. Tulips from plastic bottles: a master class. Required to work

Can artificial orchids surpass living dendrobiums or phalaenopsis in beauty? Quite if the inflorescences are reverently made with their own hands. Creating this beauty, like living nature, the master puts his soul into it, fills with energy, albeit inanimate, but still beautiful bouquets for decorating a house or a very special gift. In addition to the makings of decorating talent, nothing special is needed for this. Today we will "grow" colorful orchids and many other flowers from plastic bottles. Surprised? Then we will immediately begin our fascinating master class.

orchids

Unfading orchids - something from the realm of fantasy. But making flowers from plastic bottles will allow us to defeat the laws of wildlife. First, prepare the necessary materials: several multi-colored soda flasks (milk, beer, etc.), plastic paints (acrylic, aerosol in bottles), glue for polymers, a candle or an alcohol burner (a soldering iron or a burner will also come in handy), scissors . All is ready? Then get to work! Let's follow the step by step instructions:

  • Focusing on Fig. 1, cut off the bottom of the bottle. This is an excellent planting base for an orchid - the upper petals are already there. It remains to correct the shape of the 4 petals with scissors and slightly melt their edges with a candle flame;
  • We continue to “grow” flowers from plastic bottles with our own hands: cut a “consignment note” flower into 4 (6-8 - optional) petals from the body. It can be glued to the base. Or, having made through holes in the details with a burner, assemble an orchid bowl on a decorative carnation;
  • Make a few inflorescences and plant them on a makeshift leg - a tree branch painted green. So you can collect large flowers from seemingly garbage. And if you work with your soul, artificial flowers will not yield to living orchids with their external data.

Surely you already have a decent vase for a luxurious orchid branch. Not? Then make it all out of the same familiar material!

Daisies

Rice. 2 clearly shows how to make daisies from plastic bottles. As you can see, the main difficulty here is the formation of the stem, stem petals and receptacle on the burner flame. However, as soon as you start working on the flower, the plastic daisy will start to turn out as if by itself - everything will be so simple. So, we act step by step:

  • Cut out a stencil or by eye the basic detail - a chamomile inflorescence with petals. At first it will be a rough blank, but then you will correct it with scissors and give it a natural look;
  • From scraps of green plastic, cut out various stem petals and melt them a little on a spirit lamp. Thanks to this, each chamomile will become unique;
  • From a piece of yellow (brown) plastic, make the core of the flower. Prepare the stem by gently melting a thin strip of plastic on a spirit lamp - a twisted or straight cut of a bottle;
  • Assemble your craft together using the technique of soldering the pieces together. However, somewhere it will be possible to use glue.

The flower stalk can be made even simpler: cut a wide strip of plastic along the entire height of the bottle and fold it lengthwise, squeeze it tightly. Cut off the extra planes with scissors, leaving only a thin corner - the leg is ready. Now it is not a secret for you how daisies are made from plastic bottles. Are we moving on?

roses

Making your own roses from plastic bottles is not only easy, but also surprisingly interesting. Each flower will be different from the others. Scheme 3 will tell you in detail how to make a queen of the garden. In a short time, large flowers from waste materials will bloom in your hands. Will relatives be able to guess what all this beauty is made of? Hardly. Shall we get started? So:

  • See what blanks a homemade plastic rose requires in fig. 3 and make 2-4 similar parts in different sizes. You can pre-make a stencil or cut out the flower components by eye, which will be more correct if you want to get exceptionally unique crafts from plastic bottles;
  • Similar to the methods described earlier, make a rose stalk by slightly melting a strip of transparent plastic on an open flame. Cut out various petals from the scraps of the bottle and also slightly deform them with a candle flame;
  • Finishing collecting luxurious flowers with your own hands, connect all the fragments of the rose together, soldering the parts heated on fire. Or use glue. Collect the flower cap according to the principle of a nesting doll - insert smaller blanks of petals into large bowls.

The resulting craft can decorate an empty shelf or window sill. Or use it in the garden. There your rose will easily take root! From a distance, the buds are indistinguishable from real ones.

lilies

In summer, there are countless water lilies on the river, but now it will not be easy to find red book lilies. But we can also make artificial water lilies from plastic bottles in winter, and we don’t have to look for the graceful queen of reservoirs. Let's make lilies right now and let's not forget about water lilies too:

  • Taking fig. 4, cut out several identical blanks from the plane of a white plastic bottle (from under milk) with pointed petals characteristic of lilies. Inside the part, provide a hole sufficient for the passage of the bottle neck;
  • For another bottle (for example, yellow), cut off the neck with a margin - it will go to the core of the lily from bottles with stamens (cut the “buy” into strips and deform them by heating). Put white blanks with petals on the bottom of the neck thread, fix the assembled products with a cork.

And water lilies from plastic bottles are a smaller version of the same lily. Make them yellow by significantly reducing the size of the petals and rounding them rather than sharpening them. You can easily deal with this. Even a sunflower from plastic bottles is now within your power, not like the simplest river bathing suits.

poppies

Let's not forget to mention the bright poppies in our master class. In general, homemade products from plastic bottles are easily played up with the color of materials and the size of the blanks. Much is done in the image and likeness. So poppies from bottles are similar in execution to roses from similar materials. Rice. 5 will not let you get confused if you want to make a few poppies for the garden or in a mixed bouquet.

And our rice. 6 will teach you how to make tulips. Here you can apply various techniques, the main trick of each of which is the use of sections of the bottle, which are already given a convex shape, which allows you to cut out volumetric petals. Plastic tulips are assembled arbitrarily: on glue, by soldering melted parts, on a decorative carnation, etc.

How to make flowers from recycled materials, you now know. You can safely implement your creative ideas, inspired by our visual aids. And finally, a couple of useful tricks: so that the plastic does not catch fire and does not treacherously smoke when heated on an open fire, use the lower levels of the flame to warm up the part. And if you can’t solder the details of the flower to each other, take ordinary superglue - everything will work out. And do not forget about spray paints in cans if you need a specific color for crafts, but you simply do not have a plastic bottle of the desired color.

To make beautiful tulips with your own hands, you won't need much. Don't throw away plastic bottles. It is from them that beautiful flowers are created, a step-by-step guide for the manufacture of which we will provide to your attention in this master class.

A bouquet of handmade tulips can be put in the room. But if you have a dacha, these flowers will look great in a flower bed, while others have not yet bloomed. As if spring will come for you earlier!

For work you will need:

clear plastic bottles,

green plastic bottle;

yellow and red markers (or acrylic paints of the same colors),

fishing line with a diameter of 1 mm;

2 teaspoons

scissors or utility knife.

Manufacturing technology

2 round plates with a diameter of 10 cm are cut out of the walls of a plastic bottle. Using a teaspoon as a template, the contours of four petals are outlined on one plate and an inflorescence is cut out with scissors, in which all the petals are interconnected in the central part. The second plate is cut in the same way.

Holding the petal between two identical teaspoons, it is dipped in hot water for a few seconds. When the spoons and the plastic between them have cooled, the next and all other petals are processed in the same way.

The inflorescences are stacked together, aligning the central parts so that the petals of one layer overlap the gaps between the petals of another. The central part of the inflorescences is burned with a hot needle. A piece of nylon fishing line 30 cm long is passed into the resulting hole. On the inside of the flower, the end of the fishing line is tied in a knot and set on fire. When the knot begins to melt, it is soldered to the center of the flower by pulling the opposite end of the fishing line outward and pressing the melted nylon with the end of a wooden pencil.

For each flower, stems of a certain length are made. The bouquet will look more natural and beautiful if some of the buds are pointing up, and some are hanging, bending down to the ground. The petals are painted with red and yellow markers (or acrylics) and then folded up to form a tulip bud.

Along the edges, the bouquet is decorated with leaves cut from a green plastic bottle.

A vase can be made from a transparent plastic bottle. To do this, pick up a bottle with curly walls and cut off the neck from it. The upper edge of the walls of the vase is treated in several places with a soldering iron or hair curlers, turning and shaping the neck of the vase in the form of drop-down petals.

Plastic bottles are made of a very practical material: it is comfortable, flexible, different colors and harmless. That is why there are many.

Most often, plastic bottles can be reused for various purposes, for example, to create various crafts or for decoration.

Good afternoon, dear colleagues. I suggest you play with my kids in an interesting educational didactic game, which I myself.

The practicality of plastic bottles also has a downside - untimely or incomplete disposal of waste containers leads to environmental pollution. Garden decorations made from plastic bottles can contribute to the conservation of nature and at the same time transform the local area. The variety of ideas, the availability of material and the ease of execution of most crafts allow everyone to plunge into the world of creativity and feel like a landscape design specialist.

Benefits of using plastic bottles in garden design

The bottle is a kind of brick in the rich world of landscape design. When some are attracted to compact crafts to decorate the garden, others are successfully building small household buildings. Possible architectural solutions include:

  • Summer shower;
  • shed;
  • carport;
  • sandbox fence.

The availability of material is a key advantage of any craft. When designing a structure, special attention is paid to the strength of the connection between the elements. If you plan to decorate the garden with a voluminous craft consisting of a large number of bottles, then the task of collecting containers of the same shape and color comes to the fore. It can be difficult to cope alone with the preparation of material for crafts in the garden, so neighbors and acquaintances are involved in solving the problem.

Another advantage of plastic bottles is their ease of handling. The material is cut without much effort, if it is necessary to process a sharp cut, it is enough to hold it over the fire. When there are no own ideas for decorating a garden with crafts from bottles, numerous master classes will come to the rescue, which describes in detail the entire process of creating decorative ornaments.

Everything you need to create a small masterpiece in the garden:

  • original idea for crafts;
  • image of the finished sample or diagram;
  • detailed instructions for making crafts;
  • additional materials and improvised tools.

Various crafts from bottles are made according to the season. The beginning of winter is a traditional period for New Year's souvenirs. Late spring and summer are the time for arranging outbuildings in the garden. In autumn, small and labor-intensive elements are usually prepared for future crafts. A vivid example is a dove made of white plastic, feathers for which are cut out for more than one evening.

Making crafts for the garden is much more fun with the family or involving school friends in an exciting activity. Further photos of products for the garden from plastic bottles:

Flower heaven

All kinds of plastic flowers are capable of brightening up the garden in a dull autumn period or a snowy winter. The second direction of using bottles is the improvement of flower beds. Often, containers are used as planters and pots for fresh flowers.

flower making

At the end of the warm season, when the living vegetation withers, the garden will be decorated with flower arrangements from plastic containers. They will please the eye in early spring before the awakening of nature. Chamomile from plastic bottles for the garden is a popular solution in the design of the site. For work you will need:

  • milk container white;
  • yellow caps;
  • green containers;
  • scissors;
  • a candle or gas burner for processing sharp edges;
  • awl;
  • hard wire for the stem;
  • liquid Nails.

The flowers are quite large, it all depends on the volume of the milk container. The algorithm of actions is not difficult:

  • White bottles are cut into 4 parts.
  • The edges are given the desired shape and processed over the fire to avoid cuts.
  • A rigid wire or metal rod is wrapped in a narrow strip cut from a green bottle.
  • The stem is heated over a flame to cause the material to shrink.
  • Green bottles are also needed for cutting out leaves, which are then attached to crafts with wire.
  • At the final stage, the stem with leaves and chamomile petals are connected, fixed with a yellow cap.

Comment! In order for the craft to last in the garden for a long time, it should be carefully fixed in the ground.

The size of daisies may vary, depending on the size of the garden, the availability of free space and the wishes of the owner of the site. It is not at all necessary to make giant flowers, you can limit yourself to crafts from a miniature composition for the garden.

It is quite simple to arrange crafts for the garden from bottles in the form of bells and lilies of the valley. The main difference of the composition is in the color solution. A fairly popular garden decoration is bottled chrysanthemums, tulips are less common. Coloring plastic containers in the desired shade with the help of moisture-resistant acrylic paints helps to achieve similarity with the original. Examples of original flower-shaped crafts are in the photo below.

Flowerbed decoration

Bottles in the garden are actively involved in the improvement of flower beds. Most often, they serve as a fence. The solution has a lot of positive aspects:

  • Wooden curbs quickly become unusable under the influence of moisture. The use of natural stone is a costly exercise. Bottles for crafts are free, and their lifespan is practically unlimited.
  • If defects appear, it is not difficult to replace one element in the curb.
  • Arranging a flower bed in the garden using bottles does not require special skills and even a teenager can do it.

It is elementary to make a flower garden fence in the garden - just cut off the upper part of the container, fill it with sand or earth and install it close to each other in the prepared trench. Sometimes the neck is not cut off so that it is possible to tighten the container with a lid and prevent the filling from getting enough sleep. But then the procedure for landscaping the flower bed in the garden will take more time. Then the base of the mini-fence is covered with soil and rammed.

Advice! To add aesthetics to landscape design, pre-painting the bottles with bright colors will help.

It is not much more difficult to arrange a multi-tiered flower bed in a bottle garden. The only difference is that after preparing the first tier, it is filled with fertile soil and proceed to the arrangement of the second circle.

Pots, coasters and planters

Bottles are a great container for flowers. There are a lot of options for making practical crafts. Here are some popular solutions.

Vertical landscaping fence. The essence of the process:

  • Bottles with a volume of 1.5 or 2 liters are placed horizontally, the upper part is cut out and small holes are made at the bottom to remove excess moisture.
  • Holes are pierced along the edges (near the neck and bottom) with an awl to let the wire through.
  • Fill the container with fertile soil and sow with seeds, or plant already germinated flowers.
  • Hang bottles on mounts prepared in the garden fence.

A simple solution will give an excellent result for decorating the garden with crafts from plastic containers.

The design of the terrace is slightly different with hanging planters with ampelous plants. Depending on the size of the flowers, take bottles of 2 or 5 liters. For greater decorativeness, the container is dressed in a cloth cover or painted with a suitable shade of paint. A wire or chain is attached to the sides. A practical craft is ready in no time.

Compositions on the ground look original in the garden when flowers are planted in bottles. The most common are two options for crafts - when a 5-liter container imitates a train with trailers or a company of cute pink pigs. As in the case of vertical gardening, to get a practical craft, the bottle is placed horizontally, the top is cut out, holes are prepared for drainage and covered with soil suitable for flowers.

Photo examples of functional crafts in the garden are presented below:

Sometimes bottles are used to decorate flower beds from a different angle. The area on which a ladybug or butterfly is laid out of painted bottoms looks spectacular in landscape design. The craft is left in its original form or diluted with low bushes of plants.

Improvement of the playground for children

Crafts from plastic bottles for kindergarten is another area of application for practical material. The fountain of ideas is limited by the only condition - the edges of crafts for kindergarten must be carefully processed so that the child cannot get hurt. In addition to the kindergarten, bright crafts decorate the local area or a playground for children in their own garden.

Palm

The palm tree is considered the leader of landscape design with the use of plastic. Assembling it is quite easy and fast. For work, you will need bottles of green and brown shades of the same volume, a metal rod of the desired length. Action algorithm:

  • Reliable fixation of the base is the key to the safety of a large craft. The rod in the ground is better to be concreted.
  • For a palm tree trunk, you will need about 15 brown bottles, it all depends on the required height of the craft.
  • The neck is cut off, small notches are made along the edges and the corners are turned away to give the barrel of the craft a resemblance to the original.
  • On the bottoms of the bottles, holes are prepared that correspond to the diameter of the rod.
  • String the container on a rod, tightly connecting the bottles together.
  • Palm branches are prepared in different ways, it all depends on the size of the crafts for the garden. Sometimes two sheets are made from one 2-liter bottle, four can be. Terry edges look extremely impressive.
  • At the final stage, when the leaves crowned the rod with the trunk, they need to be fixed with high quality.

A vivid example of a successful craft for the garden is shown in the photo:

Animal world

Crafts from bottles in the form of animal figurines are popular on playgrounds and in the garden of an equally exotic palm tree. There are an innumerable number of ways to design crafts, for example, we will describe the procedure for making a cute cat.

Comment! Taking brown plastic bottles as a basis, you can not resort to subsequent coloring of the craft, you only need to apply decorative elements.

Step-by-step instruction:

  • A frame is being prepared for the figure, on which all the elements of the craft for the garden will be strung.
  • The head is formed from 2 bottle bottoms. A muzzle is drawn in front, neat ears are inserted at the crown.
  • If there are a lot of bottles, then the body of the craft can be made exclusively from the bottoms, which are strung on the base. It is much easier to connect two 2-liter bottles with the necks removed.
  • Paws are made from smaller bottles. To give stability to the craft in the garden, the container is completely or half filled with sand.
  • The tail is formed from the necks of bottles without corks. For fluffiness, notches are made along the edges.

The proposed option for making garden crafts can be improved, you can make your own adjustments to the design itself and decoration elements.

According to a similar scheme, only by selecting other volumes and the number of bottles, they draw up various representatives of the animal world. A giraffe on long legs and with the same neck looks extremely impressive, just make a donkey, which can also serve as a flower stand at the same time. Cow or zebra - it all depends on the imagination of the master.

Bird lovers

The garden will sparkle with new colors if you decorate it with crafts in the form of birds. The range of creative ideas is unimaginably wide. Crafts for the garden in the form of birds are distinguished by the complexity of manufacturing and size. Here are common solutions using bottles and plastic containers:

  • Colorful peacocks will help create a festive atmosphere in the garden.
  • Fairly simple to design crafts in the form of a flamingo. The pink bird will give the garden an Asian or African motif.
  • A motley parrot is another practical solution. Separate options for crafts are within the power of beginners, there are also complex models for the garden, for which it is better to take on creative aces with bottles.
  • Swans are extremely in demand in the garden. Car tires are not the only craft option, bottles are also used as the base material.
  • A motley rooster will attract the attention of not only children, but also adults in the garden.
  • As in the case of a parrot, there are different approaches when decorating an owl or owl craft. There will be work for both beginners and experienced craftsmen.

Comment! High decorativeness of some handicrafts is achieved by bright coloring. For others, jewelry work on making numerous feathers from bottles is important.

Let's describe an example of how to decorate a garden with a craft from a bottle using the example of a peacock:

  • On prepared bottles, the base and neck are removed.
  • The resulting cylinder is cut into 3 parts, on the one hand a rounded edge is formed and cut into fringes. These elements will serve as a tail for a bright craft in the garden.
  • For the “peacock eye” pattern, you will need a circle of blue polyethylene and foil, which are fixed with a stapler at the end of the tail. If desired, the desired contour is applied with acrylic paints.
  • When the tail plumage is ready, it is connected to each other with a fan.
  • The function of the torso in the craft for the garden will be performed by a 5-liter container, a 2-liter bottle will come in handy on the neck. The container is firmly fixed to each other.
  • The neck of the bottle can be used as a head. Crafts of birds look much more spectacular in the garden, where the head is cut out of foam.
  • At the final stage, the crafts in the garden are covered with paint and decorative elements are applied. Eyes, beak, crest - various techniques are used for details. In some cases, beads or buttons are attached, in others they are simply painted.

The paws of birds are often made of wire and plastic pipes, it all depends on the size of the craft. In order for the figure for the bottle garden to gain stability, the torso is filled with sand. This applies to low crafts. Flamingos in the garden are best fixed at the base.

An idea of the variety of forms of birds in the garden will give photo examples:

Other decor options

The garden is the right place for creative ideas. With a little imagination and free time, you can create an interesting composition based on plastic bottles. The main thing is to carefully consider the concept of landscape design.

If there is no opportunity to equip a real reservoir in the garden, painted pebbles or the bottoms of inverted bottles perfectly imitate water ripples. It is appropriate to place a graceful swan nearby, crafts are also formed from bottles. The mischievous frog is another garden decoration that you can quickly make with your own hands. Those present in the garden will also be amused by crafts in the form of gnomes. Of course, it will take a little skill of the artist, but with due zeal, everything will definitely work out.

Plastic bottles are not only an excellent basis for decorative figurines in the garden, but also an opportunity to create a practical craft. Some craftsmen make armchairs and sofas from a large number of plastic containers, connecting objects with adhesive tape. For the convenience of using bottle furniture in the garden, it is complemented by soft pillows that are easy to remove in case of bad weather.

Feeders for birds and pets are another use of containers. The easiest craft option is to cut a couple of holes in a 5 liter bottle and hang it on a branch. But it is better to improve the product and make the bottom heavier so that the bottle feeder does not sway in the wind. There are original specimens of feeders in the garden, supplemented with spoons, as in the photo below:

Bottles can become the basis for a wasp trap. The principle of operation is simple - sweet water is poured at the bottom of a double plastic container. Insects fly in, but are no longer able to get out.

Conclusion

In order for the result of creativity to be an aesthetic craft, the containers are thoroughly washed before starting work, stickers and adhesives are removed. Most figurines require a secure fit. In some cases, the body is weighted with sand, in others the legs, paws or trunk are fixed on the surface. Finishing decoration is of great importance. Dare, experiment and you will definitely get a decent result.

Tulips are flowers loved by many. But their fragility is depressing. Admire at most a week, and then wait a whole year for the next spring to see bright flowering?

Crafts for the garden from plastic bottles can solve this problem: in your flower garden, tulips can bloom all year round without interruption. Unless they hide under the snow for the winter or you bring them into the house.
These flowers are simple crafts. There is no need to cut complex details, come up with particularly ingenious fasteners, etc. Plastic bottles, scissors, wire, some paint - that's the whole set for creating ever-blooming tulips.

Tulips from plastic bottles - almost like real ones

1. Cut off the part with the bottom from the bottle. The height of the cut off part should be approximately equal to the height of the flower.
2. It is very fortunate that the bottoms of most plastic bottles are embossed. Focusing on it, we cut out tulip petals in a circle and get cups of flowers.
3. It's time to color our garden crafts. We use bright paint, as close as possible to the color of real tulips. In appearance, it is advisable to choose acrylic paint - it will stick well, it will last a long time without updating. The best choice would be paint in aerosol cans (this is claimed by everyone who makes crafts for the garden) - convenient, fast, does not get dirty, dries - nowhere faster.
4. We “invent” the middle of the flowers from large buttons, beads (it’s good to collect a few on a fishing line or wire), or even just corks from plastic bottles.
5. Flower stems can be made from thin metal rods (rebar) by fusing plastic from a bottle on them. You can also use stiff wire or suitable dry branches. The ideal option is floristic wire for stems (the so-called gerbera wire), which is sold in any self-respecting store for florists or just needleworkers. You can buy a pack of such wire - enough for flowers for the whole garden.

fantasy tulips

These tulips are more difficult to manufacture, but very elegant. For their manufacture, on the contrary, the upper parts of plastic bottles are used - with “necks”.
1. Cut off a part of the bottle from the top by about 1/3.
2. Cut out rounded petals along the cut with scissors.
3. We color the blank - a cup of a flower - as written in the first version.
4. After drying, we put it on the stem (you can also see the stem options above).
5. Now the most interesting thing: the middle of the flower will be fasteners at the same time. To make it, we take an inch of a small green plastic bottle (or paint it). We make a hole in the cork, draw a stem-reinforcing bar or wire through it.
6. The calyx of the flower is large. Well, let's take it as a fantasy tulip. But under such a cup, you also need a stem of the appropriate size. You can cut strips from brown plastic bottles, make a fringe on them with scissors from one edge and wrap the stem. It is easy to fix the strips if you melt one (on the cut edge) and press it against the stem - it will simply “weld”.
You can “plant” these crafts for the garden on a flower bed with irises: if the foliage dries up in tulips, then in irises it is green until the very cold.
