Yin and yang. The two fundamental principles of the universe. Yang is the heavenly masculine force, and yin is the feminine earthly one. The concept of the unity and struggle of these two primary foundations is not unique to China. Indeed, in one form or another, the myths of the creation of life by connecting Mother-Earth and Heaven-Father can be found in ancient myths and religions of almost all peoples. For example, in the yoga system, the analogue of yin and yang is called ha-tha ”), hence hatha yoga.
Yin energy is similar in properties to gravity, tends to compress everything into a point, strives to compress space and time into a single black hole. It is a force that absorbs energy and sends it to nowhere. Coagula of alchemy. Initially - the dark cold force of the Cosmos.

Yin is the original chaos that reigned before the advent of matter and space-time.
Yang is the desire to expand. A force that tends to break boundaries and expand, the force of explosion and light, solar radiation. Solve the alchemists. An expanding force that defines space and time and preserves them.
In the macrocosm, the struggle between the forces of gravity and solar radiation (yin and yang) determines the nature of reality. In the microcosm, their interaction feeds our life force.

The connection and union of two opposites gives rise to movement and Life, both material and spiritual world.
“All things carry yin on the surface and contain yang inside; when both these essences are combined, then life energy is produced in a harmonious way ”(Tao Te Ching, verse 42).
Contraction and expansion, feminine and masculine, darkness and light, cold and heat are one in their difference. Yin and yang are like the two poles of a magnet. They are different in their properties and manifestations, but they are united as a whole, and one cannot exist without the other. The ancient Chinese yin-yang symbol is filled with a deep philosophical meaning - everything contains the germ of the opposite. Everything in the universe is in constant struggle, in motion, in change. All life is a continuous transformation, everything flows and changes.
The definition of yin and yang is strikingly close to the modern understanding of the nature of the universe and modern scientific theories. Interestingly, many physicists drew their ideas from the bottomless well of Eastern wisdom - it was not for nothing that Niels Bohr, after being knighted, chose the yin-yang sign for his coat of arms as a symbol of harmony between ancient Eastern and modern Western sciences.
Followers of the Taoist school of Mo-tzu say: "Everything that is on Earth is yang, but the Earth itself is yin." Everything that tends to densify has more yin qualities. Anything that tends to expand is more yang qualities.
Yang is an active, masculine, heavenly energy. It is described as a hot bluish light energy rising from the bottom up. It has the qualities of "male" primary elements - Fire and Air. Spilled in space, tending to expand, the yang energy pervades all life on both the Earth and the Universe. Everything, where there is a desire for movement and expansion, has at its core the power of yang.
Yin is a passive, feminine, earthly energy. It is filled with the cold of vacuum, Cosmos, primordial darkness. Yin embodies the original chaos that reigned before the appearance of matter and space-time. This energy has the properties of "female" primary elements - Water and Earth. Like water, this energy seeks to fill the void, rushes down from above in an effort to fill and condense the space. Compare with the Book of the Law: “For forever he is the Sun, she is the Moon. But for him - a winged secret flame, and for her - starlight descending from on high. A person, according to Taoist teaching, can only feel yin as a result of interaction with yang - because of its passive and unmanifested nature.
According to Taoism, yin and yang were at first unmanifested in the Tao.
Tao can be understood as a universal principle, rationally inaccessible, and therefore a person should, as little as possible, by his conscious action and striving to prevent this principle from realizing himself, should live in a more intuitive way. To follow the path of reason, neglecting intuition, means to be at enmity with Tao, and one who is at enmity with Tao inevitably harms himself and those around him. He seems to be swimming against the current, but this current is so strong that it will still subdue him. He who swims against the current wastes his strength in vain. Exhausting his strength, he comes to the death of his consciousness and his "I".

The Tao that can be expressed in words is not a permanent Tao.
The name that can be named is not a permanent name.
Nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth, having a name - the mother of all things.
Therefore, one who is free from passions sees the miraculous mystery [tao],
and whoever has passions sees it only in its final form.
Nameless and having a name of the same origin,
but with different names. Together they are called the deepest.
The passage from one profound to another is the door to all that is wonderful.
(Tao Te Ching, verse 1)

The concept of "Tao" and its connection with the Kabbalistic Tree of Life is described in A. Crowley's work "The Magical Tao":
1. Tao is concentrated in Kether as a point.
2. Tao directs itself into Chokmah and becomes the Masculine Force. It is called Yang and is symbolized by the Whole Line.
3. Tao expands into Binah and becomes the Feminine Power. She is called Yin and is symbolized by the Broken Line.
4. These three concepts: Tao, Yang and Yin - give rise to Heaven and Earth with all their contents.

Thus, yang qi is the energy of the right trunk of the Tree of Life, and yin qi is the energy of the left one, respectively. The coincidence of the color perception of yang-chi energy is interesting. The color of Chokmah is blue, and so is the color of saturated, “condensed” yang energy.
Ideas about yin and yang, about the energies of qi and Tao can be found in a slightly modified, “encrypted” form in many things of Western tradition and culture. E. Levi's astral light, fluid of magnetizers, galvanism and magnetism - aren't all these names one and the same energy?

Two civilizations - Western and Eastern - came into contact even before the campaign of Alexander the Great, exchanging knowledge and enriching each other. The mention of the Greeks (“Yona”, “Yavana” - the translation of the ethnonym “Ionians”) is found in the Indian epic “Mahabharata”, in the Decrees of Ashoka, and others. Greco-Bactrian, Indo-Scythian and Indo-Greek kingdoms are known.

Plutarch says that after his death, the ashes from the funeral pyre were distributed among many cities, and monuments (presumably stupas) were built, similar to the stupas of the Buddha. According to the Mahavamsa (a historical poem about the kings of Sri Lanka, covering the period from the 6th century to e.v. to the 4th century e.v.), the Greek monk Mahadharmaraksita came from the city of Alexandria (presumably Alexandria of the Caucasus near Kabul) with 30 thousand Greek followers of Buddhism for the ceremony discovery of the Great Stupa at Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka (c. 130 e.v.).
A number of researchers agree that it was the Greeks who stood at the origins of the Mahayana current in Buddhism. Considering that it was Mahayana Buddhism that spread to China, Tibet, Korea and Japan, it can be argued that the West had a significant impact on the history of the East. And at the same time, the profound influence that Indian wisdom had on the Greek philosophers of that time and, consequently, on further development West. For example, the philosopher Pyrrho, who followed Alexander and returned to Greece to teach his adherents (including Zeno and Epicurus), in India was a supporter of the Digambara (ascetic) direction of Jainism. In the writings of Onesicritus and Strabo, the influence of Buddhism is clearly noticeable.
The first known anthropomorphic images of the Buddha appeared as a result of the Greek-Buddhist mutual influence. Prior to this, Buddhist art was aniconic (Buddha was depicted only through symbols: an empty throne, a tree of enlightenment, footprints of the Buddha, a wheel of dharma, etc.).

The symbol of the caduceus, personifying the forces of transformation, the unity of opposites, the rod of Mercury, is surprisingly similar to the system of chakras and the movement of yin and yang along the meridians of the body. Compare images from Mesopotamia,

Rod of Mercury (Hermes):

yin and yang meridians:

The human body is an information-wave energy structure much more than just a physical body. Qi energy enters the body with air when breathing with air, with food, but also through biologically active points (acupuncture points) and spreads through the meridians and internal organs. In the human body, Chinese doctors have about 700 such points. These points are highly sensitive, permeable to different types radiation and high electrical potential. According to some information, the cell membrane of acupuncture points can receive information that is transferred magnetic fields, microwave, EHF, laser, radioactive particles, etc.).
In the ancient Chinese treatise Huang Di Nei-jing, the points are poetically described according to the degree of interaction with the qi energy: "where qi arises in the body, a well point is formed; where qi oozes, a stream point appears; where qi flows, a a river point; where qi moves like a stream, a river point is formed; and where qi enters the body, moving to the organs, a sea point is formed.

Whether the energy is also radiated only through these points or the entire surface of the body - the question remains open.

In 1962, North Korean scientists discovered a system of tube-like structures with very thin walls and penetrating the human body in accordance with the acupuncture meridians. Quote: “These tubular structures (“Kenrak system”) have access to the skin and subcutaneous integuments. They end in small, loose oval formations, sharply different from nearby tissues. The location of these formations corresponds to acupuncture points. The Kenrak system is a network of waveguides and serves to transmit high frequency currents. Note that the speed of energy flow through it is much higher than the speed of chemical reactions and the speed of the nerve impulse. The mechanism of action of the Kenrak system is described as follows. Neurons, receiving a low-frequency action current, convert it into a high-frequency current before further transmission. Then - "at the output" - there is a reverse transformation into the current of action - already for the next neuron. Such transformations, of course, take some time. However, the body needs an accelerated transfer of energy, which is provided by the Kenrak system. High-frequency currents are transmitted to the Kenrak system by a neuron. This explains the role of the central nervous system that controls energy exchange and the possibility of a conscious redistribution of energy in the body. In itself, the movement of high-frequency currents creates a special energy shell of a person - an aura. On the other hand, the Kenrak system allows a person to receive energy from the external environment through receptors. respiratory system and mucous membranes in the digestive tract. Energy in the form of high frequency currents also comes through biologically active points.
There is still debate about whether the Kenrak system was really discovered or whether it was a skillful hoax with the approval of the Korean government. But even if this is nothing more than a hypothesis, it makes an attempt to explain the real processes occurring in the acupuncture points and the mechanisms of energy interaction of the organism with the energies of the Universe.

In order to saturate the body with energy, it is necessary to create in the body a kind of Void, vacuum. And streams of energy are pouring into this Void, trying to fill it, to give it a form - after all, Nature does not tolerate emptiness. By maximally tensing and then completely relaxing the muscles, thus creating a “vacuum”, we cause a surge of qi into the physical body. Clearing the consciousness of images and thoughts, stopping the internal dialogue through meditation, we cause saturation of our consciousness, the mental body with energy.
Meditation is a state where there are no thoughts and time, no images and feelings. True meditation is the Void, where there is nothing - not even awareness of one's "I". Meditation is the line between sleep and wakefulness, between consciousness and unconsciousness. It is necessary to free oneself from one's feelings and attachments in order to become useful to the entire Universe.

The symbol of the unity of yin and yang in Taoism is the lotus.

Lotus as an aquatic plant is the emblem of the Forces that create through Fire and Water - the symbols of Spirit and Matter. He also embodies the triple aspect of time: the past - with buds, the present - with a flower, the future - with its seed.
He is the embodiment of wholeness, as he reconciles the Yin of water and the Yang of light.
It symbolizes perfection and inspiration, fructifies itself and exists in itself: it is the embodiment of Tao.
In the magical formula "Om mani padme hum" ("Pearl in the lotus"), the word padme - lotus - represents a spiritual flowering that allows you to take possession of the Pearl (mani).

In Buddhism, the lotus symbolizes the original waters; potential possibilities of the manifested world and man in it; spiritual opening and flourishing; wisdom and nirvana. The stem of the lotus is the world axis, on which stands the flower of the throne-lotus - the pinnacle of the spirit. The lotus is dedicated to the Buddha, who appeared from the lotus in the form of a flame and was called the Pearl of the Lotus.
In Iran, the lotus symbolizes the sun and light.
In Mayan symbolism, he personifies the Earth as the manifested Universe.
In the Sumerian-Semitic tradition, the lotus personifies both the Sun and the solar gods, and the moon gods with the Great Mother.
According to E.P. Blavatsky, “the lotus symbolizes the life of both man and the universe. At the same time, its root, immersed in muddy soil, personifies matter, the stem stretching through water - the soul, and the flower facing the Sun is a symbol of the spirit. The lotus flower is not wetted by water, just as the spirit is not stained by matter, therefore the lotus personifies eternal life, the immortal nature of man, spiritual unfoldment.
In ancient Egypt, creation, birth and the Sun as the source of life were associated with the image of the lotus. This great flower blossomed, rising from the depths of the primordial waters, and carried the sun god on its petals.

Ra in the form of Horus-par-Kraat on a lotus flower

Since ancient times, the lotus has been associated with supreme power: the lotus was a symbol of Upper Egypt, and the scepter of the Egyptian pharaohs was made in the form of a lotus flower on a long stem.

I want to end with the words inscribed on the wall of the Hathor temple in Dendera: “Take for yourself a lotus that has existed since the beginning of time, a sacred lotus that reigned over a large lake, a lotus that comes out for you from Unit, it illuminates with petals the land that was before in darkness."

Yin-Yang theory is one of the basic and oldest philosophical concepts in the Taoist tradition, and although it is difficult to find people who have not heard of it now, in reality, few people truly understand its full depth.

The simplicity of this theory, which seems at first glance, actually carries a hidden meaning, which consists in understanding the relationship between the two initial opposing forces that make up the entire Universe. Understanding Yin and Yang is very important for an adept who has embarked on the Great Path of comprehending his Primordial Nature, since this will allow him to build his practice in the most optimal way and avoid various extremes in any direction.

At present, the Yin-Yang diagram, which is also called the Taiji Circle or the ball of the Great Limit, is widely used (see the figure in the title of this article).

It consists of black and white "fish", absolutely symmetrical to each other, where the black "fish" has a white "eye" and the white one has a black one. But, despite the great popularity of this sign, it should be noted that it is not entirely correct when it comes to the practice of "internal alchemy", and in the most ancient texts it does not occur in this form, therefore this diagram is referred to as "modern ( popular)" style.

Let's take a look at the history of this diagram and what is “not quite right” in it. It is authentically known that Neo-Confucian philosophers had a hand in the creation of this Yin-Yang symbol.

This process began with Zhou Dunyi (周敦颐) (1017-1073), who was the founder of neo-Confucianism. It was he and his followers who began to actively preach an abstract-relative understanding of the theory of Yin and Yang. Zhou Dunyi is usually credited with writing the treatise “Taiji Tu Sho” (“Explanation of the Drawing of the Great Limit”), which talks about the interrelationships of such concepts as: Wu Ji, Taiji, Yin-Yang and Wu Xing. In fact, the text is a super-compressed commentary on such ancient Taoist texts as: Wu ji tu (“Plan of the Infinite”), Tai chi xian tian zhi tu (“The Celestial Plan of the Great Limit”), “Shang fan da dong zhen yuan miao jing tu” (“ Plans of the miraculous canon of the highest and greatest penetration into the true beginning.

All this raised a number of questions, so that even one of the well-known contemporaries of Zhou Dunyi, the neo-Confucian Lu Jiu-yuan, argued that the treatise “Taiji tu sho” expressed the main Taoist ideas too clearly and stated the primacy of Wu Ji (Infinite) in relation to Taiji (Formed ), so this text could not be written by Zhou Dunyi, a zealous and zealous preacher of neo-Confucianism.

The prototype of the modern Tai Chi chart trace goes back to the Taoist Master Chen Tuan (陳摶 ), who was the Master of Zhang Sanfen (張三丰 ), the creator of Tai Chi Chuan. Chen Tuan's diagram is called "Xian tian tai chi tu" ("Plan of the Precelestial Great Limit") and it was not only depicted as follows (see the figure on the right), but it was also understood differently than the modern inscription. Here, the interspersed dots mean the principle of combining Yin and Yang (and therefore they are in contact with each other), i.e. the result to be achieved through the practice of internal alchemy.

When this diagram came to the neo-Confucian philosopher Zhu Xi (朱熹) (1130 - 1200), a follower of Zhou Dunyi, he modified both its style (transforming it to a modern look), and philosophical understanding. And now he contributed to the widespread dissemination of his new doctrine. Thus, we see that the well-known Taiji symbol and its interpretation were introduced into wide use not by Taoists, but by neo-Confucian philosophers. It was not very difficult for them to do this, since neo-Confucianism itself contains various ideas borrowed from Taoism and Buddhism, and therefore his ideas could easily penetrate into these traditions and, to a certain extent, change the original meaning and explanation of certain concepts. Also, neo-Confucianism was once appointed as the main ideology of the state, which means that the possibility of its influence on other ideologies was very significant.

Now let's move on to the features of the Taiji diagram, which belongs to Zhu Xi. The key point of this theory is that it considers a rather abstract understanding of the concept of Yin and Yang and denies the existence of "pure" forces of Yin or Yang. This negation is expressed in the diagram by the fact that the "black fish" has a "white eye" and vice versa. Those. we observe here an exclusively philosophical view of the world forces of Yin and Yang. This understanding, of course, has the right to exist and can be effectively used in many cases.

But, there is a big "But"! And this “but” arises when, as part of the practice of internal alchemy, we begin to work with the energies of Yin and Yang. Here we are just faced with the fact that philosophy is philosophy, and reality may turn out to be completely different than we could imagine. AT this case, this is expressed in the fact that in the course of practice we find "pure" Yang energy without Yin and Yin energy without Yang.

To better understand what is at stake, let's now look at the ancient Taoist Yin and Yang diagram, which more accurately depicts the relationship between the forces of Yin and Yang and was used by Zhou Dunyi (see figure below). Looking at this diagram, we see a very different picture and the relationship between the two forces that it displays. And it may not be so easy to understand what is drawn here.

And now this diagram is very ancient and was made in the Neolithic era, which is more than 3 thousand years BC. Now let's look at what is the essence of the ancient theory of Yin and Yang. In the diagram, we see that the black (Yin) and white (Yang) bands are symmetrical with respect to each other, and this establishes a balance of two opposite principles. All this is a natural law of Nature - just as day follows night, an inhalation is followed by an exhalation, after the cold comes warmth.

We also see that the forces of Yin and Yang exist in parallel and are opposite to each other. The empty circle inside indicates the One Primordial from which everything flows. It is also necessary to say that the energies of Yin and Yang themselves do not attract, like "+" and "-", but, on the contrary, repel. This is due, first of all, to the fact that their strength is multidirectional, i.e. the power of Yang lies in the movement from the center to the periphery, and the power of Yin - from the periphery to the center, therefore they cannot be connected in their usual states. And, nevertheless, in all living (material) organisms, the energies of Yin and Yang are present simultaneously, and support each other, although they can be in different proportions, and also collect in their pure form in separate parts of the body.

by the most simple example The "pure" Yang energy outside of our body is sunlight, and the Yin energy is the force of gravity. At the same time, the Sun itself also has Yin energy, and in the center of the Earth (the core of the planet) there is Yang energy. In the widely popular literature, it is often said that Yang is "strong" and Yin is "weak". This statement is erroneous, and, for example, the same gravitational force cannot be called "weak". It is necessary to understand that both forces can be in different states, both active (strong Yang and Yin) and passive (weak Yang and Yin), and it is this understanding that underlies the theory of Wu Xing (five elements).

Based on the foregoing, we can draw the following conclusion: in Practical Taoism, the energies of Yin and Yang are quite concrete forces, and not abstract concepts, as is believed in philosophical circles.

One way or another, an ordinary person perceives the world in a dual way, there is a subject (the person himself) and the objects that surround him. And this duality is nothing but the same Yin and Yang. The goal of Taoist practice is to comprehend one's Primordial Nature, which is possible through the achievement of the One (One), which means the disappearance of duality and the achievement of a holistic Unity with the entire Universe at all levels, from the grossest to the most subtle.

In the Taoist School of Zhen Dao (as in other traditional Taoist directions), the path to gaining Unity begins with “cleansing the mind of defilements” and “eradicating obscurations.” At the level of working with energy, the basic technique is that we comprehend its qualities and properties of Yin and Yang and fuse them (匹配阴阳 ). This is a very difficult task, based on the fact that the energy impulses of the Yin and Yang forces are in different directions, and therefore we can say that Yin and Yang in the body ordinary person they can never merge into one on their own, because it is not natural for them. Only thanks to the methods of internal alchemy (nei dan), a person can achieve their connection and use them simultaneously, and not in turn. When such a merger occurs, a person receives completely new opportunities and new level perception of reality. This result can be displayed in the following diagrams (see figures below).

They display the alchemical result of the fusion of Yin and Yang, and note that in spite of the fact that in the first diagram we see the same "fish" as in the "modern" style, only they do not have any "eyes". Alchemical diagrams well reflect the dynamic processes of two opposing forces, so we can talk about the existence of a young, mature and old Yang and a young, mature and old Yin. In an ordinary person, the energies of Yin and Yang do not interact in such a combined way, as indicated in the figures, this is typical only for practitioners of internal alchemy. Therefore, one of the most important goals of Practical Taoism is the merging of the energies of Yin and Yang, which, in fact, is the first step towards gaining immortality (enlightenment) and comprehending the Tao.

The Yin-Yang symbol depicts the universe, consisting of two opposites, Yin and Yang, which form a whole only in a single combination. Two dots in the symbol mean that each of the two energies at the highest level of its realization already contains the grain of its opposite and is ready to be transformed into it.

A healthy body is based on a state of perfect balance between Yin and Yang and the Five Basic Elements.

Oriental medicine- Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, etc. - based, among other things, on the philosophy of balance of Yin and Yang, helps to restore the harmony created by nature in the body. When the harmony between Yin and Yang is disturbed, the state of balance can be restored through meditation, acupuncture, corrective diet, qigong, tai chi, shiatsu, or various combinations of these methods. Oriental doctors seek to treat not external symptoms diseases, and their root causes, consisting in the violation of the internal balance, while demonstrating such a "clairvoyance" that a person with a Western mentality may seem like magic.

principle of yin and yang- Eastern perception of reality, implying both the material and the spiritual world as a unity of two opposite and at the same time interdependent forces.

Yin and Yang are opposites that form a whole, they depend on each other, because they exist only in relationship with their opposite.

The Yin-Yang sign symbolizes the universal law of change. He shows us that one, reaching its greatest value, invariably passes into the other. Winter turns to summer and summer to winter. Movement is replaced by rest, and rest - by movement.

Tears turn into laughter and laughter into tears. Life leads to death, and death brings life back.

The Yin-Yang sign, each part of which has a dot of the opposite color in the center, represents two poles containing in the inner core the essence of the opposite.

In other words, there is no absolutely pure Yin or Yang, white or black, feminine or masculine, dark or light, good or evil.

A woman must have masculine qualities, and a man must have feminine qualities. Both white and black always have gray tones.

A bad deed is never only bad, and a good deed can have bad consequences.

Yin and Yang are not absolute concepts. They are relative, like everything else in the world. Therefore, they can be used to describe the relationship between various phenomena of the material and spiritual world.

For example, the chest is seen as Yin in relation to the back, but in relation to the pelvis, the chest is Yang.

Or winter in relation to summer is considered as Yin, but in comparison with cosmic cold it is Yang.

The sign reflects how the opposites depend on each other, how they affect each other and how they eventually pass into each other.

To understand the nature of the two fundamental principles and their impact on human health, you need to remember what diseases and ailments Chinese medicine refers to Yin and Yang.

Life Energy Qi

Qi is the Chinese name for life energy, or life force. The Japanese call it Ki, and in Yoga it is called Prana.

The concept of life force circulating in the air, plants, animals and in the human body existed already in the most ancient cultures. This is the energy that is found in all forms of matter and concentrated in living organisms, "life outside the atom."

More than three thousand years ago, in India and China, systems of treatment and meditation were developed to increase the vital energy in people in order to prevent and cure diseases. The Chinese singled out different kinds life force qi.

For a deeper understanding, we need two more important concepts related to Qi energy - Shi and Xu. Shi means fullness or excess of energy, which in most cases causes Yang symptoms such as inflammation, sharp pain, and fever.

Xu means exhaustion or lack of energy and manifests itself in Yin symptoms: chills, chronic pain and swelling.

With the help of the meridian exercises described in this book, you can eliminate the excess or deficiency of Chi energy and bring it into balance in the various meridians and their corresponding organs. Thanks to this, health is strengthened, well-being improves and old age is pushed back.

Meridians and Organs of Chinese Medicine

Meridians are the channels through which life energy, Qi, flows. Those places where you can feel this flow of energy are called acupuncture points.

Traditional Chinese medicine views the meridians as a network that connects the inner and outer: internal organs and the surface of the body, tissue and spirit, Yin and Yang, earth and sky. This system consists of energy channels located predominantly along the vertical axis of the body, the Liu vessels, and a special Dai Mai channel that surrounds the waist like a belt.

Western doctors compare the Chinese meridian system human body with the meridian system of the Earth: the meridians of the body correspond to the meridians of the Earth, the Liu vessels correspond to the parallels, and Dai Mai to the equator.

Already in the Huangdi Nei Ching, a treatise on internal diseases Yellow Emperor Huandd? dating from about the 3rd century BC, the location of the meridians and the effects on acupuncture points were accurately described. In this treatise, the meridians are compared to the great rivers of China, washing the earth.

The concept of the meridian is expressed by the Chinese character "ching", meaning "river, road, path" and "blood vessel". The meridian system includes the meridians of the twelve Organs, called the twelve permanent channels.

Each of the twelve meridians is associated with a specific Organ and connects it to other Organs.

The twelve meridians form pairs. Each Yin meridian is connected to the Yang meridian of the same element.

These pairs are called Dual Meridians, as the flow of Qi in the meridians is balanced by two "gates". These "gates" are Liu's vessels. Their main task is to ensure the same level of energy flow in the Dual meridians. This reduces the risk of excess or deficiency of Qi in one of the meridians, and consequently in the corresponding Organ.

The good functioning of the meridians and vessels of Liu ensures the full circulation of Qi energy in the body and, therefore, sufficient nutrition and the safety of all Organs and the consistency of their work. It must be mentioned that Chinese ideas about the internal organs and tissues of a person differ from those accepted in the West. This difference is due primarily to the fact that the Chinese tradition does not separate the body and soul.

Chinese medicine claims that in addition to purely physical functions, every organ has an emotional, mental, and spiritual function. That is, the soul and mind exist in every cell of the body and in its energy field. Therefore, the internal organs are considered more as a unity of the body, mind and spirit than as anatomical formations with certain physiological functions. Each organ affects the personality as a whole, and the interaction of all organs determines the thought and sensory processes.

Since the internal organs are not viewed from a physiological point of view, but from a unity of body, mind and spirit, the anatomical definitions in Chinese medicine differ from those in Western medicine.

To avoid confusion, all organ names in their Chinese sense are capitalized. For example, the organs that in Western medicine are called the stomach, duodenum, and the initial part of the small intestine are simply called the Stomach in Chinese medicine, since the process of digestion and transport of nutrients from the gastrointestinal tract to the blood is considered the main task of the Stomach. And what is called the Spleen in Chinese medicine includes not only the spleen, but also the pancreas” and the entire lymphatic system, that is, the organs that form the human immune system. The physiological purpose of the Spleen is to protect the body in general.

Chinese medicine distinguishes between six Yin organs and six Yang organs.

The Yin organs are called Zhang, which means hard, dense. Another name for Zhang organs is storage organs, since, in addition to performing their physiological functions, they also produce, accumulate and transform various forms qi energy. Zhang's organs are the Heart, Pericardium, Liver, Kidneys, Lungs and Spleen.

The Yang organs are called Fu, which means hollow. The main tasks of the Fu organs are the intake and digestion of food, the absorption of nutrients and the excretion of toxins. Fu's organs include the Stomach, Small intestine, Colon, Gall Bladder, Bladder and Triple Warmer.

The function of the Triple Warmer is to regulate body temperature, coordinate the activity of the respiratory and circulatory systems, the digestive and genitourinary systems.

Everything in the world is in harmony, balance: good does not exist without evil, just like the dark forces without the forces of heaven. However, Yin-Yang are two opposite energies, which means that they also complement each other. These two concepts came to us from the ancient teachings of Taoist philosophy and to this day are one of the most important teachings in Feng Shui.

What does the Yin-Yang sign mean?

The meaning of this symbol is not so easy to understand. Let's start in order: so, Yin symbolizes nothing more than feminine while Yang is masculine. If we talk about Yin-Yang as a single whole, a symbol of unity, then we get Tao. The latter, in turn, is the energy that contributes to any creative process. In other words, Tao, according to the ancient Chinese treatise I-Ching, is a mysterious force, and in some teachings, the mother of the cosmos, which controls absolutely everything on this planet: both living and non-living processes. It is worth mentioning that the Yin-Yang symbol was discovered back in the 7th century BC, which means that Chinese philosophers were among the first who sought to know the nature of the universe.

Yin-Yang, man and woman - what does this mean?

As in all living things on earth, these two energies coexist in man. Regardless of gender, be it a girl or a guy, each of us has a male (Yang) and a female (Yin) beginning. At the same time, the representatives of the fair sex, more precisely, the majority of them, are dominated by Yin, the main properties of which are preserving, passive, perceiving. It is important to note that a woman is the personification of Yin, because she is destined by fate to be the keeper of the hearth, a person who gives life, brings up children. Yang is a man, a provider. These two energies do not just interact with each other, but they are destined to harmonize, creating a full-fledged, versatile, creative life.

It was mentioned earlier that two Yin-Yang energies coexist in every personality. In addition, in order to always be in good shape, in harmony with his inner "I", a person needs to work on the balance of these two opposites. So, a woman should not be dominated by masculine qualities (although in the age of feminism it is hard to believe in this), just as in a man - feminine. In addition, excessive passivity can harm, like an excess of activity.

No less important is the fact that the predominance of male and female principles affects the well-being, the state of the organs. So, any negative changes in the human body are in the nature of Yin-changes. This also applies to the fact that if any organ is suppressed, it does not function enough. Yang energy is responsible for the hyperactivity of the body. Ancient Chinese medicine believes that the root of acute diseases is the influence of Yang energy, and chronic ones - Yin.

What does the Yin-Yang amulet mean?

Yin-Yang in the form of a tattoo or a charm symbol on a pendant means energy replenishment, which protects a person from everything bad and evil. Perhaps this is one of the most ancient and strong talismans. Here, however, there is a small nuance: the amulet should seem to be tuned to the one who wears it. In other words, it is important for a person with a Yin-Yang tattoo to be aware of the existence of two opposite energies, in their powerful impact on life, the future fate of the individual. The most interesting thing is that the more harmonious, the more balanced Yin-Yang is, the more successful this person is. The interaction of energies will last as long as they are in unity, are a single whole, mutually passing into each other and have an inseparable connection.

Woman and man sign

Since ancient times, people have tried to convey the essence of a man and a woman with various drawings. Images expressed both existing differences and unity. The most famous signs of the masculine and feminine principles are Yin and Yang, as well as the symbol of Mars and Venus. Each of them has its own history of occurrence and a certain meaning.

Female and male signs

The first symbols of Mars and Venus appeared in the days of Greek and Roman mythology. The signs known to many were taken from astrology, and they became so common thanks to the botanist Carl Linnaeus. He used them to distinguish between the sexes of plants. It was from this time that these symbols began to be called gender, that is, gender-determining.

Venus female sign depicted as a circle with a cross pointing down. It is also called the "mirror of Venus", according to assumptions, the name appeared due to the external similarity. This sign symbolizes femininity, beauty and love.

Mars male sign depicted as a circle with an arrow pointing up. It is important that the hand, when viewed on the hour dial, looks at two hours and means the power of the god of war. This symbol is also called the "shield and spear of Mars", given its appearance. The combination of the male and female sign has several meanings. The union of Venus and Mars embodies heterosexuality, that is, love between members of different sexes. Different combinations can be used to denote bisexuality, there is no definite meaning, and to this day. Transsexuals have their own symbol - the sign of the feminine and masculine principles overlap each other, that is, the ring has both a spear and a cross. The combination of two male and two female signs separately does not have a clear definition and can mean both love and friendship.

Signs of a woman and a man - "Yin-Yang

The philosophy of ancient China indicates that in the world around us all the time there is an interaction of the feminine and masculine principles. "Yin" is a female symbol and it contains such concepts as humility and passivity. The opposite is the male symbol "Yang", which personifies positive and development. In Chinese philosophy, it is indicated that any object located in the Universe can be described using the energy of the feminine and masculine. The laws of "Yin-Yang" are subject to all living beings on earth, as well as planets, stars and signs of the zodiac. Each of the existing zodiacs has its own polarity. The Zodiac begins with a male sign, and then there is an alternation.

Most men and women fully justify the theory of "Yin-Yang". For example, the representatives of the stronger sex love to demonstrate their superiority, but the fair sex is endowed with excellent intuition and softness. As with every theory, there are exceptions. AT modern world quite often you can meet women who have a masculine character, all this is due to the individual characteristics of the human psyche. It is impossible to change this, no matter how much many would like, since these traits are innate. The perfect couple a union is considered in which a man with a pronounced "Yang" and a woman with "Yin" are connected. In such a pair, the man will be the leader and earner, and his companion will be the keeper of the hearth. Interestingly, there are unions in which everything happens, on the contrary, and such couples are also strong and occur quite often. If there are people in a relationship who have the same beginning, then the union will be quite difficult and, most likely, short-lived. There is only one way out in such a situation - the distribution of roles, where each of the partners should be responsible for a certain sphere of influence.

Yin-yang tattoo: meaning and places of application

Today, tattoos have gained particular popularity. tattoo is artistic drawing which is applied to human skin. Such drawings can be on any part of the body. There are entire catalogs, according to which the customer chooses the future picture. The choice should be approached very responsibly, after all, a tattoo is made for life. There is even an opinion that the chosen drawing can radically change fate. Chinese hieroglyphs, mythical creatures and yin-yang tattoos are especially popular.

History of the yin-yang symbol

This is a very old symbol that came to us from ancient China. This sign clearly divided the world into light and dark side. From the point of view of Chinese philosophy, the yin-yang tattoo shows the interaction of various opposites. In the countries of the East, they believe that this sign harmoniously indicates the eternal struggle of good forces with evil ones.

There is also such an interpretation. It is believed that Yin is a symbol of the feminine. It symbolizes the fertility of the whole earth and characterizes only even numbers. Yang is the masculine force that characterizes those who give life and odd numbers. The people of China are especially sensitive to these symbols and signs. In almost every house you can see such a picture in a conspicuous place. Today, a picture with two opposites flaunts on various parts of the body in the form of a tattoo.

The meaning of yin-yang tattoo

This tattoo is not divided into male and female. Each representative of mankind can stuff this oriental symbolism on his body. It is very common to see yin-yang tattoo sketches depicting a dragon and a tiger. Choosing a certain animal, we theoretically take the side of evil or good.

A yin-yang tattoo always looks stylish, its meaning is actually very simple. A person who has chosen such a body pattern seeks to find harmony not only with the outside world, but also with himself. Many people are regularly tormented by doubts about the correctness of their actions. It is believed that such a picture can radically change the situation.

Girls put a slightly different meaning into the yin-yang tattoo. They believe that after drawing the picture they will gain woman's happiness. And, as you know, it is achieved through harmonious communication with the male sex. In any case, everyone decides for himself what is the point of investing in his wearable pattern.

Places for tattooing

Anyone can get such a tattoo. But where the yin-yang tattoo will look better, it is up to the person himself to decide directly.

Also, a yin-yang tattoo can be stuffed in the area of \u200b\u200bthe accumulation of veins. It is in these places that the circulation of blood and hidden energy force occurs. These places include the neck and wrists.

Sketches and interesting tattoos

Tattoo sketches "yin-yang" are created by many artists. Can't get past this ancient symbol. They draw a variety of animals and whole plot pictures.

In fact, there are no boundaries, you can express your creativity and create your own understanding and vision of this sign.

In addition to the drawing, do not forget to take a responsible approach to choosing a tattoo parlor. Illiterate underground masters can not only fill poor quality image, but also cause irreparable harm to your body. You need to get a tattoo only on a sober head, not succumbing to emotional impulses. Of course, it is possible to get rid of wearable "painting", but this is a rather difficult and expensive procedure. Therefore, be in harmony with yourself and make the right decisions.

YIN AND YANG - FEMALE AND MALE

To begin with, let's try to understand and see what it is - MALE and FEMALE. In the East, the concepts of Yin and Yang are used for this. Yin is feminine and Yang is masculine.
Yang (men) is always attracted to Yin. Therefore, Yin - the female energy in us - always attracts men to us. But if we have more male energy, then a man does not see a woman in us, no matter how beautiful we are in appearance. And the most simple and even ugly woman, filled with female energy, will always be an alluring flashlight for men, attracting them with her feminine light, her fullness of feminine energy.
How can we understand how much is feminine in us, and how much is masculine? How to determine the reason for our failure to attract men? Let's look at the picture and try to look at our life based on the ratio of female (Yin) and male (Yang) energy in action in it. What kind of lifestyle we lead, and what kind of energy we cultivate and accumulate in ourselves every day. The energy that then attracts men to us or repels us.
Yin Yang
Water–Fire
Rest-Movement
Darkness–Light
Compression–Expansion
Cold–Heat
Silence–Sound
Energy–Form
Horizontal–Vertical
Intuition-Logic
Passivity–Activity
Striving for Uniformity – Striving for Diversity
Conservation–Distribution
Chaos-Order
Let's take a closer look at our lives. How do we live? What energies are present mainly in our life?
REST - MOVEMENT
Look at the lifestyle modern woman? At work, she runs around with documents, then shopping, and even when she comes home, she rushes around the kitchen and apartment to do everything. If she spends the whole day in motion, then what kind of energy does she cultivate in herself? That's right - Janskaya, Male. And then we complain that we have become like men - however, we ourselves, by our way of life, first energetically, make ourselves a man, and then the hormonal system and the whole body are tightened by our way of life. And gradually, we become, often even outwardly, similar to men. We begin to wear trousers, flat shoes ... As a result, men stop paying attention to us as women.
And if we are at rest, for example, lying on the couch? What kind of energy are we cultivating? That's right - Women's, Yin. But only if we lie on the couch properly, like a cat. And only when we know when to lie down, and how and when to get up in order to start moving gracefully and easily, striking everyone with plasticity and flexibility.
And what will happen to a man who sits at his desk all day, gets home while sitting in a car and, after coming home from work, lies down on the sofa at home? What kind of energy does he cultivate in himself? Who will he look like over time? The answer, I think, you will find and see for yourself!
DARKNESS - LIGHT (Day–Night)
A woman can restore her Yin energy only at night, in the dark. Thus, going to bed at midnight, we do not have time to restore exactly the female energy and balance it with the male one. The result of such an imbalance of Yin and Yang for a woman can be a deep depression.
If you want to start rejuvenating and regaining your femininity, try to go to bed at 22:00. Because it is from 22:00 to 1:00 - this is the time when the female hormonal system is being restored. If you regularly go to bed far after midnight, then it is unlikely that you will be able to stay energetic and look young for a long time. And you will either become yang, like a man, or you will simply begin to quickly get tired and get sick.
COMPRESSION AND EXPANSION
Often, women in business complain that they are becoming like men in their way of thinking, and then in appearance and behavior. They cease to attract men as women, and at work they are perceived only as partners and employees.
But what is business - it is the energy of aggression, expansion of the sphere of influence, and, accordingly, the Yang quality. That is why, in the East, a woman was engaged in the house, and not in capturing the market, which allowed her, instead of expanding the scope of activity, on the contrary, to narrow it to the center of the house, the hearth. And if a man carried himself outside, outside the house, then a woman, on the contrary, strove to its very center, to hearth where the whole family gathered.
Pay attention to what you are doing at your job. Expanding your influence and influence, or vice versa? Do you allow yourself to be a woman at work? What do you wear to work pantsuit unisex or elegant dress?
Pay attention to what you do at work. Any kind of activity aimed at compression, gathering will contribute to the accumulation of female - Yin - energy. Activities aimed at the aggressive seizure of territory will develop the masculine principle.
SILENCE - SOUND
Silence carries Yin energy, and perhaps that is why the ancient poets have always praised the female ability to remain silent. The ability to say a lot to a man with this amazing silence filled with charm.
Quietly murmuring female speech is much more pleasant for male hearing than female loud screeching. A quiet whisper excites, creates a charming atmosphere of mystery. And a loud cry repels and makes a man want to leave so as not to hear him.
And this, first of all, is connected with the energy of the voice. A quiet voice carries female, Yin, energy, and a loud voice carries male, Yang.
Scientists have known for a long time that men just don't hear high-pitched voices. A female high-pitched screech simply turns off their perception of a partner. So if you want men to hear you, you just need to learn how to control your voice.
In ancient times, there were special practices for working with the voice for the women of the imperial palace. Women gathered in gazebos and played special games that developed the timbre of the voice, which would excite a man and penetrate into every cell of his body. Women learned to speak from the womb and heart. And those who successfully mastered this science could control a man by whispering affectionate and necessary words to him. Remember Scheherazade. She charmed her sultan, first of all, with her voice, which flowed like a spring stream, riveting his attention only to her. And after a few days, he could no longer live without the magical timbre of her voice, coming from the heart and flower of the female essence. The voice is that amazing thread that can attract and keep a man.
ENERGY - FORM
In ancient texts, the emphasis is always on the fact that a woman is energy. A man is the form that energy can fill. After all, energy is like water, if it is not given a shape, then it will simply spread like a puddle. That is why the union of a man and a woman is so important. Only with such a union does a vessel appear that has a form and content. And that is why this union is so important for both. After all, without a man, a woman becomes formless and loses herself. And a man without a woman remains just an empty form.
We are like fuel for a car. Without gasoline, she is unlikely to go and will be just a pile of metal. And fuel without a car is just a liquid. But if they are together, then this is already an amazing union that can move forward.
But even fuel has an expiration date. Any energy given to us from birth must be restored and filled with fresh energy. And the quality of energy also matters. And if we want to attract a man of a high social and material level into our lives, then we must also have the appropriate energy.
Therefore, the women of the imperial harem in ancient times were carefully selected and always engaged in energy practices in order to provide the emperor with health and strength, filling him with the energy of life.
In order to fill a man with the right energy, women were engaged in women's practices in ancient times. Practices that filled us with a wonderful awareness of our feminine essence, which can nourish a man and show him the world from the other side, from the side that a woman perceives.
And if a woman is filled with active yang energy, then what can she give a man? Will she be able to let him switch from perpetual motion to give him a chance to rest and gain new strength?
COLD - HEAT
How often are you and I in the modern world are in the cold? After all, it's no secret that a modern woman spends most of her time in a hot room. Even in winter, we practically do not go outside. But the fact has long been known that in a cold climate, women age more slowly and retain their beauty longer.
No matter how surprising it may sound, but walking in cool weather, especially in rainy weather (water also carries female energy), is useful for cultivating the female structure. It is very good to wash with a piece of ice from herbal infusions.
HORIZONTAL - VERTICAL
It is better for a woman to do most of the practices while lying down, or at least sitting, because that is the best way to work with female energy.
It turns out that when performing practices in a vertical position, mainly yang male energies are cultivated. And in ancient times, for a woman walking the Yin path, standing practices were forbidden until the age of 28. And only after 28 years it was allowed to perform sitting practices.
It is very important for a woman to balance vertical and horizontal practices. It is desirable to give preference to the horizontal position of the body. Including in ordinary life. Pay attention to how many hours a day you spend in an upright position and how many in a horizontal position. What position is your body in most?
INTUITION - AWARENESS
How often do we women do something based on intuition and turn out to be right. And men consider this a completely inexplicable fact. However, note that the opposite pair, the male component of the intuitive perception of the world, is awareness. So if you completely become Yin, then you can lose the main Yang quality - awareness. You do not need to go completely into the Yin state in order to be more conscious in your actions, in your life.
If you are engaged in women's practices and at the same time do not change your lifestyle, leaving it yang, then most likely you are just wasting your precious time. You can cultivate female - Yin - energy first of all by a way of life, even just knowing what Yin and Yang, male and female are.

"TAO OF FEMALE WISDOM. The Way of the Woman and women's practices"

Which half of yin yang is male and which is female? thanks in advance

*Kisunya*

The basis of the ancient wisdom of China and Japan was the concept that every thing, situation, feeling, etc. is ambiguous, has two poles and has its opposite: day - night, war - peace, man - woman ...

YIN is the Feminine (black square (earth). Expansion, external, ascending, space, sweet, violet, light, electron, water, oxygen, plants (especially salads), sympathetic nervous system. Too much yin leads to chilliness and fears , especially being in public, to masochism.

Yin symbolizes everything that is dark and earthy:
femininity,
north,
cold,
shadow,
Earth,
passivity,
humidity
black color,
valley,
trees,
nocturnal, aquatic and marsh animals,
most colors.
even numbers;

Yang is the Masculine (in the form of a white circle (also denoting the sky). Compression, internal, downward, time, salty, red, heavy, fire, proton, hydrogen, carbon, animals (especially predatory), parasympathetic nervous system. Too much yang leads to aggressiveness, up to cruelty, sadism.

Yang symbolizes everything light, dry and high:
masculinity,
south,
light,
activity,
dryness,
emperor;
active start,
spirit,
rationality,
height,
extension,
positive
hard and unyielding.
mountain,
sky, heaven,
solar animals and birds;
odd numbers;

One of the frequently asked questions:
– How to reveal the “inner woman” in yourself or how to become a “real man”?
Another variant:
- Where to find a real man or a real woman?
Third option:
- How to harmonize?

In each of us there is a feminine and masculine principle - Yin and Yang, an inner woman and an inner man.

What do these two aspects give and why are they important?

yin- this is the feminine principle, which takes on an aspect directed inward. He perceives everything as a whole, without separating himself from the Creator. Feminine energy is smoother, more fluid and multidirectional, without clearly defined boundaries. She remembers her true nature and higher purpose, so she does not need to manifest her self. Properties - dream, create images, inspire. Character traits - smoothness, flexibility, fluidity, tenderness, care, smoothing sharp corners. The female energy is cool, the energy of the moon.

Yan- masculine, directed outward. Therefore, for men, realization in society, in the outside world, is much more important. Male energy is more vectorial, directed, separating. More focused on purpose, action and result. Male energy forms individuality. Character traits - initiative, determination, enterprise, focus on results and achievement of the goal. The masculine energy is hot, the energy of the sun.

It is impossible and not necessary to be in only one of these hypostases. It is important to be able to be in harmony and manage energy as needed.

For example, we live in a society, and when we need to act, to function, we, regardless of gender, “turn on” our male part. And in personal relationships, it can be useful to use your female part. And only when both energies are in harmony and in balance inside you, then you can build harmonious relationships outside.

It is believed that the optimal ratio is 30/70, i.e. up to 30% of the energy of the opposite sex, and from 70% of the energy of their own sex.

If there are internal distortions in one direction or another, this also affects the external one, because the outside world is a reflection of the inside. For example, you probably know such couples: a strong, domineering, slightly masculine woman, and next to her is a soft-bodied and slightly effeminate man.

Guess what it's about?
And how do you want it to be?
To harmonize and balance male and female energy, I offer you one very simple practice.

Possible “ side effects” from practice:

♦ State of causeless bliss on different planes – physical, mental, emotional;
♦ Help in removing psychological dependence;
♦ Removal of sexual hunger in case of forced or voluntary abstinence;
♦ Improve relationships.

We offer a practice for harmonizing male and female energies -YIN-YANG BALANCE

The practice consists of two levels, which are best done alternately, mastering during the time you need (within a week, or within a month). It is advisable to follow the order and practice the levels in the order in which they are given. As you master the levels, it will be possible to practice in everyday life, “on the go” - in transport, on the street, in between ordinary activities - as soon as you remember this.

Before starting the practice, you can mentally or aloud turn to your Higher Self and ask him to set you up for this practice so that it takes place here and now with the maximum effect for you.

I level. Yin-Yang balance

Sit comfortably or lie on your back with your hands palms up. Try to relax the body as much as possible, it is also desirable to form and maintain an internal mood for openness of energy and trust in everything that will happen to you during this practice.

Basic visualization:
1) Visualize in your right palm a brightly shining, pleasantly hot golden Sun, a symbol of Yang energy. The size of the sun is whatever suits you. Next, imagine that a brightly shining, pleasantly hot, plasma-dense golden energy comes from the sun and fills your body. Try to feel it. Excess energy radiates through the pores of your body in all directions and replenishes your field (aura), which becomes dense, golden and radiant. Follow this paragraph for as long as your inner feeling tells you. On average, this can take 3-5 minutes.

2) Visualize in your left palm a softly glowing full moon, a symbol of yin energy. Imagine that a gentle, subtle, softly shining energy comes from it and fills your body. Try to feel this, sometimes remember the sun in your right hand and try to maintain the feeling of energy as described in point 1, and then return to this point again.

Over time, you will be able to feel both energies at the same time. Follow this paragraph for as long as your inner feeling tells you.

The operating time with solar energy may be longer than with lunar energy, or vice versa - it depends on many reasons - let everything go as it goes.

Effect of practice at level I:
Filling with energy, harmonization (balance) of yin-yang energies in your soul and physical body, balancing the male and female principles in the whole being.

In principle, these two points are quite enough to achieve a natural yin-yang balance, but if desired, this practice can be expanded with the following additional exercises, which will give a wider effect:

In addition to points 1 and 2, imagine that you are sitting (or lying) on a shining globe. The position of the palms does not matter. The energy of the Earth rises from the bottom up and flows through your entire body, going up to infinity. Imagine that you are as open as possible from below and from above. Try to feel it. Return to points 1 and 2 occasionally, maintaining a sense of the flow of the energies of the Sun and Moon. Do this for a while until you feel like you've had enough and you can move on. On average, it takes 3-5 minutes, but with practice, less time may be enough.

Next, imagine that around you - Space and stars. The energy of the Cosmos enters you from all sides. This is an infinitely loving, dense energy that permeates your body, every cell, and replenishes your field. Try to feel it with your whole being. Return to steps 1, 2, and 3 occasionally while maintaining a sense of the energies of the sun, moon, and earth at the same time.

Effect of additional practice to level I:

Harmonization (balance) of ascending-descending flows, filling with energy, feeling of love and inseparable unity with the outside world.

II level. yin yang connection

In continuation of the first level, where the balancing of yin-yang energies takes place, at the second level there is a natural and harmonious combination of male and female principles in our being.

Sit comfortably (or lie on your back) with your palms positioned as you like (it doesn't matter in this practice) and try to relax your whole body as much as possible. Maintain an internal attitude towards openness of energy and trust in everything that will happen to you during the practice.

Imagine that at some (convenient for visualization) distance from you are the Sun and the Moon, located in outer space in line with you. The sun is a little further away, and the moon is a little closer to you, and the distance between them is such that for you, as an observer, the solar and lunar disks have same size, that is, they are completely superimposed on each other so that the edges of the discs are exactly the same.

For those who have trouble with spatial imagination, images of a total solar eclipse can help. The only difference is that in this practice, the lunar disk should not be imagined as darkened, but as softly shining. Next, imagine that the energies of the Sun and Moon, familiar to you from level I, flow towards you in one line - harmoniously combined and inextricably merged with each other.

These combined energies penetrate your body, fill every cell, and its excess replenishes your aura. Try to feel it. Practice time 3-5 minutes (maybe a little more or less, the only guideline is still your inner feeling).

When you feel good about point 1, imagine that the small (reduced) Sun and Moon are in every cell of your body - moreover, in every particle of your being - and fill all cells and particles with their energy. It is full of love, naturally harmonious and integral, radiant divine energy.

Try to feel it with your whole being, with every cell. Stay in this state for as long as it will be pleasant, and until a feeling of completeness comes. Usually it is 3-5 minutes, but it can be more or less, this is normal. If you wish, you can sometimes return to the description of paragraph 1, this will contribute to a better effect from this practice.

Effect of practice at level II:
The combination of male and female principles in our being naturally causes a feeling of fullness of life within oneself, a feeling of an increase in one's own integrity, perhaps a long-term experience of inexpressible bodily and spiritual harmony, causeless and deep happiness, coming, one might say, from the very depths of the cells.

Achieving yin-yang balance has a beneficial effect on psychological relationships with the opposite sex and the quality of intimate relationships. With practice, the painful psychological and physical dependence on loved ones and partners of the opposite sex gradually disappears (if any): psychologically, you stop suffering when your loved one is not around, and physically completely stop experiencing “sexual hunger”. But, at the same time, your natural sensuality does not disappear anywhere - on the contrary, it is freed from negative layers, clamps and bindings and blooms like a flower.
